CBS Cruncher v5.5 · Browser, CLI and Z80 toolkit

The current CBS Cruncher.

Compress binary and Screen 5–8 data, compare the active CBS formats, build MSX cartridge ROMs, and download matching Z80 decoders and command-line tools. The separate guide documents every format and integration route, while ROM Analysis measures the 128 KB translation-project demo.

Python 3.9+ · Windows, macOS and Linux

CBS Cruncher Python CLI.

Use the same v3 and v4.3 engines from scripts, build systems, and development workflows for MSX, ZX Spectrum, and other Z80-based computers. The dependency-free command-line tool can compress with either engine or both, decrunch PCK files, verify every result byte-for-byte, and report end-aligned RAM safety.

The complete package includes the Python script, instructions, and both readable Z80 decrunchers for RAM-source and ROM/RAM-source data.
